The first proper release on Palms Out from long time cohort, Udachi, “Swagger” features the stylings of fellow Staten Islander, iBeat. It’s a charged tropical joyride through new york heavy bass hop, kuduro and rave. An impeccable remix package is started off by the UK’s Baobinga, who gives the original a purple synth tinged juke dicing, full of 808 bottom and tom tom galore. Kansas City’s Tactic turn in an ultra modern dembow remix, while Trouble & Bass’s own AC Slater delivers a heavy bass stomper for the ages. Not one to get lost in the mix, Sweden’s Andreas Bygdell (1/4 of The Touch) delivers a sexy saxophone based bumpy house version, with the the naughtiest breakdown imaginable. Last up, Johnny Love aka. Deathface formerly of Guns n Bombs, takes us out with a bang – a monstrous, dark dubstep version. Also incl! uded is an instrumental version. Original Crumb inspired artwork by John Dessereau.
