New release from English producers Damian Wilson and Darren Crook, ‘Love so strong’ is an uplifting Ibiza infused house track, the release comes with a Groovenatics mix, which has already received support from David Guetta!

Both Darren and Damian have extensive experience in the music industry, which has since transferred into their production ability. Damian Wilson has been at the front of the dance scene for over a decade having produced the biggest radio show in the world for BBC Radio 1 (Pete Tong’s Essential Selection between 1998-2006), then moving on to become A & R manager for Cr2 Records, a position he still holds today. During his 8 years producing Pete Tong’s show Damian travelled the globe recording shows from the Berlin Love Parade, festivals in South Africa and of course weekly from Ibiza. Along with producing and developing the Essential Selection, Damian also produced Judge Jules (1999-2003), Dave Pearce (2004-2006), Seb Fontaine (2001-2004) and Mary Anne Hobbs (2000-2002). Since becoming A & R Manager at Cr2, signing the likes of DJ Sneak, Arno Cost, Norman Doray and current new talent Jacob Plant, he has also found his way into the studio producing ‘(Can You) Take Me Away’, a top ten on Beatport with mixes from the DONS.

Darren Crook began his music career working at Defected Records with Simon Dunmore. After 3 years of working at their office based in Soho, he often DJed for Defected at Ministry of Sound and maintained his own productions on the side. Darren has enjoyed remixing pop acts, which include Upper Street, Michelle Marsh and China Boy High. A chance meeting with MYNC Projects Mark Brown hooked up by non other than his good friend Simon Neale (Dave Spoon!) led to getting the job role as Press & Promotions Manager for hit factory CR2 RECORDS. A few years on Darren left Cr2 to concentrate on his own productions, which is when the collaboration with Damian Wilson came about. Through a shared love of good quality house music the pair have joined forces alongside vocalist Steve Edwards to create the stellar track ‘Love so strong’.

‘Love so strong’ is big room house at its best, sampling an uplifting vocal and shifting piano chords! Darren and Damian have teamed up with star vocalist Steve Edwards who sang on Bob Sinclair’s massive hit ‘World hold on’. They personally asked him to feature on the track knowing he would deliver nothing short of amazing. Certainly not disappointed, the breakdown of the catchy chorus places your mind straight in the sun. Also featured is a mix from, Colombian producer DJ Wady whose upbeat track is reminiscent of any Ibiza party, with big drums and excellent sampling of the original vocal this mix is certain to unite any clubbers hands in the air! If you’re a fan of quality vocal house and would welcome any early indications of summer, then this release is for you.
